The Prison Mindfulness Institute – http://www.prisonmindfulness.org. The Prison Mindfulness Institute is committed to helping individuals use mindfulness based interactions to assist inmates with changing their lives. They offer resources, trainings, books, and newsletters to those interested in practicing Buddhism behind bars. The Aleph Institute – http://www.alephne.org. The Aleph Institute is a not-for-profit Jewish religious, educational, and humanitarian organization serving the Jewish community. Aleph offers a multitude of services to Jewish men and women confined and their families, focused on the premise that “no Jew is forgotten” and that “no Jew is alone.” |
